Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Tokyo Game Show revealed for handheld games updates from Square Enix. It's a new Kingdom Hearts series. The core multiplayer experience are both cooperative and competitive. The core combat has been well-adapted to the DS hardware.


In wireless mode, this game support up to four players and can go out plus raid together. The main character is Sora and the action is simple, player just tap a button to attack, than hit another to slash. The touch screen is indicates your destination or map. From extrapolate, your goal is hunt creatures in a group, collect gold, item, and glowing orbs to gain rank and health, respectively.

The character models tout the highly stylish art that the series. The environments we saw are fairly simple but well-rendered. From we see is the great graphic for DS game. The camera is pretty easy to maneuver, since a tap of the R button re-centers it. After slaying four or five enemies, player will be face up a boss fight with a giant chameleon. This boss can bounce from place to place on the map without detection, as it can become invisible and jump your entire party.

At the end of the battle, a ranking screen will show in the screen, where player can check the character status. Each of the four players sits on a throne, and according to his or her performance, the throne either rises to the top of the dual screens or sinks down to the touch screen.

The Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will be pretty good-looking title in Nintendo DS. So... we just wait the English version release after the japannese version released.
